Smitty's operates teams at all levels of "A" ball
| Squirt | 11 and 12 year olds (born in 1999 or 2000 for the 2011 season) |
| Pee Wee | 13 and 14 year olds (born in 1997 or 1998 for the 2011 season) |
| Bantam | 15 and 16 year olds (born in 1995 or 1996 for the 2011 season) |
| Midget | 17 to 19 year olds (born in 1992 through 1994 for the 2011 season) |
| Junior | 20 to 23 year olds (born in 1988 through 1991 for the 2011 season) |

Most teams practise during the off-season. The length and frequency of the off-season sessions varies from team to team (younger teams tend to practise more often than older teams). In addition, Smitty's runs skills clinics (pitching, hitting, conditioning) throughout the off-season.
